The Director of Acute Care Services will join an established Community Health Center that has been providing top quality care in Colorado for the last 15 years. This healthcare system was recently recognized by Lifepoint Health as a National Quality Leader. This newly renovated and recognized Acute Care Services department includes the Med Surg, ICU, OB, Telehealth and Nursing Administration Units, providing the Director of Acute Care Services with ample opportunities for growth. 

The Inpatient Director will be responsible for the clinical and administrative operations of the Medical Surgical, Telehealth, Obstetrics, Orthopedics and Respiratory sectors of this 270 bed Hospital. Reporting up to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Inpatient Director of Acute Care Services will oversee a team of experienced Managers, tenured Supervisors and a team of exceptional RN’s within this top quality facility. 

Supported by an exceptional team of MD’s, RN’s and other healthcare leadership, the Director will be a valuable piece of this Joint Commission Accredited Hospital staff. 

Operational oversight, leading the departmental budget and responsibility for regulatory compliance will be a few components of the Director of Acute Care Services responsibilities. The Director can also expect to develop training programs for staff, implement policies and procedures to maintain the consistent quality of care in each department. 

A BSN prepared candidate with an active Compact State nursing license with significant short term acute care leadership experience will surely earn a quick interview.
