Job Summary

The Residential Services Director at We Care Residential Services is responsible for overseeing the intake and outtake processes of clients, ensuring the implementation of client-specific plans, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role is crucial in fostering professional relationships to support the growth and quality of services offered. Additionally, the Director is tasked with creating and maintaining connections with case managers, parents, and guardians to facilitate the admission of clients to We Care, ensuring a seamless integration and a supportive environment for each client.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management:

• Coordinate the admission and discharge of clients using state vendor calls, referrals, and other connections.
• Collaborate with caseworkers and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to develop and implement personalized care plans including Personal Centered Plans, Positive Support Plans, and Behavioral Management Plans.

2. Policy and Compliance:

• Assist in developing and implementing agency policies and procedures to enhance service quality and growth.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance Director to ensure compliance with HCBS and OADS regulations.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of Incident Reports to Evergreen.

3. Professional Relationships and Communication:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral agencies, caseworkers, guardians, and state departments.
• Regularly report to the CEO and keep all relevant stakeholders informed about agency operations and developments.

4. Team Coordination and Morale:

• Coordinate with the Administrative Team to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Maintain high company morale by recognizing staff efforts, praising quality work, and addressing grievances through proper management channels.

5. Strategic Input:

• Actively propose and suggest ideas or projects to the management team for potential implementation.

6. Meetings and Collaboration:

• Attend all scheduled weekly staff meetings, unless prevented by other critical commitments.

7. Personal and Professional Qualities:

• Maintains a professional demeanor and upholds the company’s positive reputation at all times.
• Adheres to the company’s chain of command in decision-making processes.
• Engages actively in management discussions to enhance service provision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical administration, psychology, nursing, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a clinical director or managerial position within a healthcare or residential care setting, demonstrating a track record of success in leadership and clinical management.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical field policies, regulations, and best practices, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
