We are offering an exciting opportunity in Shelton, Connecticut, for a Collections Specialist in the energy industry. This role involves a range of duties related to customer credit and collections processes, focusing on maintaining accurate records, resolving inquiries, and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivables.
Responsibilities- Conduct calls and collect past due balances on residential and commercial accounts
- Reconcile account balances and handle incoming calls related to callbacks or disputes
- Take payments and tracking for follow-through and completion of process
- Process customer credit applications in the absence of the manager
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various billing functions and collection processes
- Provide excellent customer service throughout all interactions with customers.
Requirements- 1 years experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with various billing functions and collection processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
