Collections Specialist - Healthcare jobs in Georgia

Radiology Imaging Center looking for a skilled Billing and Coding Specialist with knowledge in Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative and clerical services.

Must have 1 year of experience in Billing & Coding, Insurance Verification and Prior Authorization.

Must have experience billing all type of Health Insurance, Auto Accident / Workers Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
• Prepare bills and invoices.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues, appealing denials with insurances and follow up on payments.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Assisting answering phone, scheduling appointments, check-in & out patients.

Skills

• Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountant
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience in operating Excels spreadsheets, Microsofts
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Multi-tasking and Team Player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
