Job Summary: Supports Parker Auto Credit department in a variety of tasks to help the day to day operations of the dealership. Maintain professional relationship with customers and uphold confidentiality regarding account information.
Responsibilities: Each Job Responsibility is listed in order of daily importance, notice some tasks are ongoing throughout.
· All necessary collection activity on all open loans.
· Maintain Collection Ratio of 90% or better.
· Recommendations to supervisor on problem accounts/repossession
· Update customer accounts as needed
· Process vehicle insurance claims through GAP and balance with manager for final accounting.
· Handle all paid in full account reporting weekly and closing at month end.
· Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate person.
· Assist customers with basic questions regarding their loan.
· Payments: Process and post customer payments
· Balance Cash Drawer at end of night
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned
· Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding discussions on loans
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year collections experience, automotive experience a plus
- GED or High-School Diploma
- Strong phone skills are a must
- Superior communication, problem solving and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment
- Relationship builder, easily and enjoys building rapport with people
- Competitive spirit, self-motivated individual and collaborative team player
- Auto Masters experience a plus
- Willing to submit to a background check & drug screening
