Summary
The Collector locates and/or notifies customers with delinquent accounts and attempts to secure payment by performing the following duties.
Key measures of success:
- Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data
- Demonstrates attention to detail while identifying and solving problems in a timely manner
- Gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions
- Communicates with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments and attempt to resolve delinquencies
- E-mails balance due invoices and form letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts
- Records information regarding customer interactions and status of collection efforts
- Sorts and files correspondence; organizes paperwork & customer file
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least two years related experience and/or training
- 1 year Collections experience (Required)
- Writes clearly and informatively; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information
- Demonstrates attention to detail demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness
- Prioritizes and completes administrative tasks correctly and on time
- Knowledge of accounting software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer

- Salary:$14.00 per hour (DOE)
- Shift:8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
