LOAN OPERATIONS CLERK

FRANKLIN FINANCIAL CENTER

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

is providing clerical support for consumer and commercial loans. This position requires detailed accuracy and supporting of all types of loans.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Examine and analyze the completion of loan documents for accuracy.
• Enter loan information which includes maintenance and uploading of loans.
• Monitor and maintain loan portfolios - ensuring all documents are completed on time and all necessary documentation is up to date.
• Enter loan information into required systems and verify that all imaged documents are valid and complete.
• Post General Ledger items as necessary (Post and Correct transactions to accounts)
• Obtain and review insurance and property tax information for escrow processing
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Investigate and correct errors upon customers' request, according to customer and bank records.
• Resolve customer questions / complaints through direct involvement or coordination with bank leadership.
• Maintain strong working relationships with all other departments, such as lenders and financial centers.
• Actively participate in community and civic organizations, as appropriate, to positively reflect the bank and the community.

EDUCATION NEEDED

High School Diploma or equivalent

SALARY STATUS

Hourly, Pending Experience

SKILLS NEEDED

• Have previous experience in office environment with administration responsibilities
• Have community banking experience (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attentive to details
• Ability to work independently as well as complete projects using a team
• Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
