Commercial Loan Manager jobs in Texas
Commercial Loan Manager manages a team of commercial loan officers to build commercial loan business within a designated market. Provides operational guidance to loan officers and approves requests for loans beyond the officers' approval limits. Being a Commercial Loan Manager may personally handle the most complex loans and most difficult credit approvals. Adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Additionally, Commercial Loan Manager builds a high-performance lending team with individual mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Commercial Loan Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Commercial Loan Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking to fill the full-time position of Commercial Loan Administration Manager in Dallas, TX. The Commercial Loan Administration Manager directs and manages the Commercial Loan Administration team to ensure the accuracy of commercial loan requests and closings, in accordance with loan policy. This position communicates with other bank department managers and officers to promote efficient workflows and establish positive work relationships across the organization.
- Assist in supporting commercial bankers as needed.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff. Support and provide resources on processes and procedures.
- Create staff work assignments, track staff productivity, and adjust as needed.
- Accomplish staff results by managing, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and evaluating the Commercial Loan Administration team to accomplish the department’s objectives.
Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and location
Education / Experience Preferred:
- 5 years of commercial loan documentation or commercial loan support experience in a banking environment.
- 3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
