Overview:
Sun Properties is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee portions of our growing portfolio. This position will work with our Director of Property Management to assist with managing the operational success of the assigned commercial property assets.
Asset types include a portfolio of commercial real estate only, consisting of office, retail, and industrial properties. The overall portfolio is located in Louisville and Southern Indiana.
This position will contribute to tenant relations, vendor management and project management. This individual should be willing and able to collaborate within our Property Management team, Lease Administration, Accounting and Construction divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties, including tenant relations, maintenance, and financial management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize property value and achieve owner objectives.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure that all maintenance and repair issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance will all lease provisions and must have experience reading and understanding commercial leases.
- Prepare annual operating budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for assigned properties.
- Stay current on market trends, industry best practices, and local regulations affecting commercial real estate properties.
Requirements:
- The individual must have at least 2-5 years’ experience with a commercial real estate company executing similar commercial property management responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will be customer service oriented and be a self-motivating, accomplished and high performing individual with a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with internal departments in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, project management skills, organizational skills and time management skills are critical for success in this position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation as travel between properties will be required.
- Applicant must be able to pass drug test, background check and possess a clean driving record.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. This is not a remote position.
