Commercial Tire Technician performs tire and tire related services at commercial service centers according to company requirements. Mounts, demounts and balances commercial and other tires and wheels as directed by a service manager or a more senior technician. Being a Commercial Tire Technician follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, noting additional needs and notifying the service manager or supervising technician. May be responsible for replenishing inventory and maintaining shop supply levels. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Tire Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We Offer
We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the extra mile philosophy to fulfill our Commercial SVC Inside Tire Technician role.
As a Commercial SVC Inside Tire Technician, you will work onsite at a Snider service facility in order to service Snider customers with tire and wheel related needs.
These needs include, but are not limited to replacing, inspecting, and / or repairing tires to ensure they are road ready and DOT compliant.
Additionally, Inside Commercial Tire Technicians will assist with any branch and warehouse tasks when they are not performing service calls.
All Snider Inside Commercial Tire Technicians have six months to become TIA certified.
What Youll Do on a Typical Day
This position will be based in a commercial / industrial tire and or mechanical truck service center, at one of our Snider Branches.
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interact with moving mechanical parts / equipment on a daily basis, and the noise level at the service center is usually moderate to high.
