Starting Wage: $17-$18.25

Hills and Dales is dedicated to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities. As a DSP-In Home you will meet with child or adult clients who have an intellectual disability wherever they live or meet you in the general Dubuque area. In this role, you would be inspiring personal growth, teaching self-care, and encouraging the development of social skills. Some tasks include, but are not limited supporting bathing, cleaning, cooking, and engaging clients in their daily plan goals. This is a part time position from 9:45AM to 2:45PM M-F. Some flexibility is required based on cancellations and rescheduling. There is an opportunity to potentially pick up weekend shifts if more hours are desired.

Applicants must be able to meet the following requirements:

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent, Valid driver's license,

Applicants must qualify as an approved driver; use of personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursement applies), with minimum insurance requirements of $ 25,000.00 bodily injury liability (found on the Declarations page of your policy).

Offer contingent upon the succressful completetion of a criminal background check, dependernt adult and child abuse background check, and drug screen.
