Job Summary:
The Community Relations Manager at the Vermont Organization of Recovery is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders, advocating for the Vermont Organization of Recovery’s mission, and driving growth and sustainability through strategic initiatives. This includes board development, fundraising, social media marketing, event planning, development of marketing materials, diversifying revenue streams, and identifying opportunities for growth and sustainability.
Duties:
- Develop and execute community engagement initiatives to increase brand awareness
- Manage social media platforms, engaging with followers and creating compelling content
- Collaborate with internal teams to align community efforts with overall marketing and sales strategies
- Create and manage budgets for community events and initiatives
- Conduct data collection and analysis to measure the effectiveness of community programs
- Drive fundraising efforts to support community projects
- Lead strategic planning for community outreach programs
- Identify opportunities for business development within the community
