Competitive Pricing Manager jobs in New Jersey
Competitive Pricing Manager assists with the pricing analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to provide pricing for products, geographies, and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy. Conducts market research and intelligence gathering and recommends pricing targets. Being a Competitive Pricing Manager maintains competitive pricing databases to monitor changes in the marketplace and their impact on new and existing products. Performs analyses to test customer price sensitivity and elasticity. Additionally, Competitive Pricing Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Competitive Pricing Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Competitive Pricing Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with government program laws and company policies
- Review and analyze price reporting programs (AMP, BP, ASP, etc.)
- Complete State Program Price Transparency report filings promptly
- Analyze fee and rebate payments for distributors and pharmacies
- Conduct data analytics and problem-solving for Government Pricing calculations
- Assist in procedural documentation development and legislative compliance
- Support monthly accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for GTN line items
- Provide insight on pricing decisions and assist Market Access team with analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends impacting GTN forecasting
- Support Finance team with accounting duties and ad-hoc analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical data analysis, accounting, and government reporting
- Experience with GTN in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
