Notes about this role: this is an Office position for our Chesapeake, VA branch. This is a Monday thru Friday 8:30 - 5:00 pm position. The salary is an hourly position.

Job Summary
The scheduling coordinator In Office Role is responsible for scheduling home health visits for all field clinicians, answering phones, and assisting office staff in our Chesapeake location. Your work environment will be generally fast paced, and we are looking for a person to come in eager to learn and help us grow our busy office.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and schedules for field staff clinicians and collaborating with office staff to ensure all patients are properly see per MD orders
• Contacting patients to perform welcome calls, as indicated.
• Monitoring and ensuring staff are meeting productivity
• Help tracking referrals and hospitalizations
• Help answer telephone calls and connecting them to the right clinicians or managers

Qualifications
A minimum of one year experience as a scheduler; home health experience is preferred

Wellsky EMR experience is recommended, but not requires

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines

Ability and desire to work in an office environment

Exhibits excellent communication and organizational skills
