As the CFO, you will collaborate closely with our executive team to drive strategic financial planning and ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Planning:- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
- Lead annual budgeting and contribute to long-term financial planning endeavors.
- Offer valuable financial analysis to guide decision-making for our leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Supervise the preparation and timely dissemination of accurate financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Present financial information clearly to key stakeholders.
- Manage the revenue cycle process, overseeing billing, collections, and reimbursement.
- Monitor revenue cycle performance metrics and optimize revenue capture strategies.
- Ensure compliance with billing and reimbursement regulations.
- Develop and maintain robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Handle relationships with external financial partners such as financial institutions and investment advisors.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash management and debt financing.
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Coordinate financial audits and regulatory inspections.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing finance team.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and growth opportunities for finance staff.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
