General Purpose:
Manages a team of business development representatives that market the Interim HealthCare home care services to potential referral sources and prospective clients to increase profitable sales and continue the development of agency divisions.
Essential Functions:
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and market opportunities.
· Relationship Management: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of strong relationships with key referral sources, including conducting high-level presentations and negotiations with large referral and payer organizations.
· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing and business development professionals, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and guidance to successfully contribute to the company's growth objectives.
· Performance Analysis: Utilize contact management systems and other tools to track team activity, monitor account development status, and plan future actions. Conduct regular reviews and ride alongs with team members to assess performance and adjust strategies as necessary. Ensures Business Development Representatives meet minimum productivity standards and take appropriate action when productivity is not achieved.
· Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with operational managers and the Administrator to ensure excellent customer service levels, track referral activity, admission rates, case mix, overall revenue and implement targeted account plans effectively.
· Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement innovative strategies and tools to enhance marketing and business development efforts, improve service delivery, and increase market share.
· Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience.
· Five (5) years successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably healthcare services.
· Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels within and outside the company.
· Demonstrated familiarity with home healthcare services, referral sources and payors.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
· Computer and Internet literacy.
· Demonstrated excellent organizational and detail skills.
· Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals under short deadlines, changing priorities and minimal resources.
· Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
· Ability to work flexible schedule and/or evening hours as needed.
· Able to engage in local and occasional out-of- town travel.
· Physical activity is light requiring occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs. or pushing/pulling small objects. Frequently walking or standing or sitting most of the time.
