    We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Compliance Manager to support our NV, UT and AZ markets. The Compliance Manager will ensure everyone adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. They perform regular audits of business procedures and processes to ensure this compliance. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of key programs to support the organization's compliance program. Working with the Chief Compliance Officer, this role ensures that the organization adheres to legal and ethical standards and ensures compliance with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.


    This is a Fulltime Monday - Friday onsite position located in Las Vegas, NV.

    Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the HIPAA Privacy Officer and IT Director
    • Reviews and becomes familiar with all Nevada policies and procedures, clinical and non-clinical, and ensures all Nevada policies comply with federal and state law; and eventually assist the CCO with reviewing and ensuring all company-wide policies and procedures are in compliance with all laws. 
    • Reviews and becomes familiar with the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct.
    • Interprets and disseminates information on regulatory and compliance matters to Nevada employees.
    • Educates and trains all Nevada employees regarding compliance topics with guidance and assistance from CCO.
    • Manages compliance hotline process for Nevada along with the CCO, which includes investigation, follow up, and corrective action if necessary.
    • Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations; assists CCO with companywide audits.
    • Oversee HIPAA matters in Nevada and assist with HIPAA compliance companywide; and oversee medical records requests for Nevada.
    • Identify offenses, respond promptly and appropriately, and recommends the required corrective actions.
    • Follow best practices to help minimize the risk of healthcare data breaches.
    • Member of the Executive Compliance Committee


    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of all State and Federal healthcare compliance regulations.
    • Analysis – ability to interpret rules and regulations, and make recommendations to management.
    • Flexibility – ability to remain calm and perform duties accurately in crisis or emergency situations.
    • Communication Proficiency – ability to communicate in a tactful and courteous manor; possess excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette.
    • Collaboration Skills – ability to impart information and instructions clearly and concisely; understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
    • Customer/Client Focus – knowledge of principles for providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • CPCO or CHC certification (preferred)
    • Healthcare Compliance - 1 year required (2-3 years preferred).
