Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer jobs in Pennsylvania
Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Job Summary:
Custom Stone Interiors, Central PA's premier Counter Top Fabrication company, is seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for programming computer programs for Counter Top Design and Machine Operation. This person will work closely with the Template/Laser Technician and Machine Operators to insure proper and correct execution of programs. This position will prepare drawings of counter tops using CAD software based on dimensions and information provided by the template measure. He/she will prepare the final counter top design by ensuring proper cutouts and other pertinent details are correct and in place. The ability to multitask and focus on the task at hand will be paramount. Pay will be based on skills and experience.Required Skills: -Demonstrated ability in CAD.
Duties:
- Download Template files. Amend to correct dimensions-Ensure proper cutout files are downloaded and properly placed.
-Program proper tool paths and cutouts for CNC operation.
-Will work and communicate closely with Machine Operators to ensure proper and correct fabrication of Counter Tops.
Requirements:
- Past experience utilizing CAD/CAM Software
- Familiarity with database design and system architecture.-Multitasking and the ability to make decision and to lead.
