Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications. Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software. Being a Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications, and troubleshoots and maintains the machine. Utilizes G or M code and CAM software (MasterCAM,CAMWorks or others). Additionally, Computer Numeric Control Machine Programmer tests accuracy of settings and programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction.
Searching for QTY 2 Composite NCP to provide Numerical Control Programming Expertise within the Pre-Cure / Green Part Space to support the manufacturing of detail parts within the 777 Composite Wing Center within the Everett site. Looking for skilled Programmers to create, verify, & revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operation of Optical Layup Template & Ultrasonic Knife Cutting equipment. In addition, the successful candidates will be able to provide machine operator instructions / documentation for automated or numerically controlled equipment’s such as AFPs and ATLMs
Must Haves: the ideal applicants will be experienced within the following areas:
- Composite Fabrication & Techniques
- NC Traditional CAD / CAM Systems
- Trim, Drill, AFP, ATLM Equipment
- Composite Tooling (such as mandrels and fixtures)
- Defect reduction, Root cause
- Corrective action, Problem solving
Preferred candidates will have the following skills:

· NS2/nesting experience

Education / Experience:
· AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
