Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator is responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary. Being a Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator follows established quality and safety standards. Typically requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator typically reports to a supervisor. The Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be a Computer Numeric Controlled Machine Operator typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. Intrepid Machine, Inc. is a CNC Precision Machine Shop and we are looking for CNC Operators. We prefer that you have experience in a Job Shop environment and with the manufacturing of aerospace parts. IF you have the following skills, WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU!!
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience with CNC lathes and or mills.
- Knowledge of making offsets is a plus
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Need to have experience with metals and plastics
- Must have at least 2 years prior experience
- Must be able to handle pressure and take constructive criticism
