Computer Operations Shift Supervisor jobs in Idaho
Computer Operations Shift Supervisor supervises and monitors the computer operations of one or more shifts. Leads the operating and monitoring of computer equipment and delegates workflow as necessary. Being a Computer Operations Shift Supervisor uses established procedures to perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and its peripherals. Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor of the terminal to identify faulty output or machine stoppage. Additionally, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor may require an associate degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. This position requires consistent review of accountability. Responsible for the supervision of housekeeping teams including hotel lead, condo lead, and house person lead. Attention to detail is a must. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a well groomed, professional appearance, adhering to Schweitzer Property Management dress code. Lead the housekeeping team in cleaning, preparing, and maintaining accommodations for guest occupancy. Prepare materials for, and participate in, employee training and development, health and safety meetings, and other departmental meetings. Room inspections, assisting in all work zones, driving company vehicles, and helping guest with arrival and departures. Provide an honest, and open environment in which employees can grow with positive reinforcement. Lead by example. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Lodging Operations Manager, and/or Director of Lodging. Knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services, and activities is a must. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Leadership, supervisory, communication, and knowledge of safe cleaning procedures and housekeeping tasks. EDUCATION: High School diploma or the equivalent EXPERIENCE: At least one year housekeeping experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. LICENSE: Valid insurable driver’s license required PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position demands combined walking/standing/kneeling For up to 10 hours per shift with breaks provided. Lifting frequently, up to 25 lbs.; rarely, up to 35 lbs. Squatting, kneeling, bending: frequently; reaching above shoulder level: occasionally; climbing/twisting: rarely; Hands: grasping, pushing/pulling of carts; Feet: foot control occasionally for vehicles and vacuums. Worksite: 90-95% inside, 5-10% outside, exposed to all temperatures and moisture. Hazards: cleaning chemicals and snow/ice. Sensory skills required: vision, hearing, touching, and speech. Requires computer/ telephone/paperwork, usually done in a sitting position. Considered by many as the best skiing in Idaho and the best family-friendly resort in the Pacific Northwest, Schweitzer ranks as one of the nation’s top winter destinations with 2,900 acres of incredible terrain thanks to two massive bowls and renowned tree skiing.
