Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. About Concrete, Inc.
We provide a full range of service for commercial applications. Some of the services we provide are footings and foundations, slab on grade.
parking lots, ICF (insulated concrete forms), storage tanks, and renewable energy (wind and solar farms). We offer competitive wages and benefits as well as training and support .
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following :
- Perform tasks for commercial concrete construction projects
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, clean and prepare sites, help pour and screed concrete, set concrete forms, clean up job site and other duties
- Regular attendance
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONCRETE LABORER AND FINISHER
- Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to 100 lbs
- Basic knowledge of hand tools employed in the construction trade
- Physical capability to do physical tasks associated with the construction industry
- Must be a reliable team member, safety oriented and willing to learn
- A love for working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Knowledge in concrete finishing a plus
Pay : Pay starts at $25 / hour for unskilled laborers, more with experience. We will train.
Benefits : Health Insurance(employee premium 100% company paid), other optional insurance(employee paid)-dental, health savings account, short term disability & accident insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, per diem and company paid hotel if traveling.
We also provide transportation from our shop to the job site.
