Configuration Analysis Manager manages the coordination and administration of configuration management activities. Creates and implements configuration management policies and procedures. Being a Configuration Analysis Manager oversees the review of released engineering change data and documentation to ensure that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, Configuration Analysis Manager acts as an advisor to the configuration analysis team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Configuration Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Configuration Analysis Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Manager Business Systems Analysis & QA – Federal Government Long Term Care
FedPoint, a versatile administrator of large-scale insurance and benefit programs, is seeking a dynamic Manager to lead our Federal Long Term Care Insurance Plan (FLTCIP) Business Systems Analysis & QA team. You will guide a team of Business System Analysts and Software Testers, ensuring our systems (ICARE and LTCFEDS.com) run smoothly. This role involves collaborating with the Project Management Office, business units, Info Security, Information Technology, and external partners to improve our use of data and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Project Execution:- Build strong relationships with FedPoint Managers to understand and meet their system needs.
- Track system defects and enhancements, ensuring transparency and effectiveness.
- Support data reporting, execute data changes, and monitor key data controls.
- Lead business requirement gathering, test planning, and project implementation using Agile methodologies.
- Monitor workloads to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Participate in change control processes and manage production validation.
- Lead and manage your team, setting and aligning individual goals with department objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staff.
- Identify and nurture high-potential talent and ensure effective succession planning.
- Operate effectively within in-person and hybrid teams, fostering adaptability.
- Provide timely performance feedback and manage employee performance.
- Promote business acumen, facilitation, and negotiation skills across the team.
- Scope projects, change requests, and defects, resolving associated risks.
- Manage deviations and develop mitigation plans, escalating conflicts as needed.
- Prioritize multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
- Collaborate on budget creation and management.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certifications or coursework in technology or business / systems analysis, software development lifecycle preferred.
- Must have 3 years of previous experience managing teams in a business analysis, technology, or benefits administration environment
- 3 years’ experience in a business analysis or analytical role; including experience gathering and writing business requirements, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years' experience working in benefit administration strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of a diverse global and hybrid team.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP) designations preferred but not required.
- Must have a proven track record of successful developing staff, including utilizing interpersonal skills and coaching to provide regular, actionable formal and informal feedback.
