Conservation Technician maintains the authenticity and overall appearance of art objects. Conducts analysis to determine appropriate method for cleaning and repairing objects. Being a Conservation Technician may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Conservation Technician relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Executive Director (ED) is a permanent full-time position of the Northwest Conservation District, a Connecticut environmental non-profit 501c(3) organization. The primary role of the ED is to provide leadership and management to carry out the mission, policies, and goals of NWCD in accordance with statutory requirements and regulations. The Organization is looking for knowledgeable environmentalists with strong administrator skills holding a degree in soil science or related environmental science to manage small staff and direct the day to day operations of the District and implement NWCD programs.
