Position: Concrete Foreman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in concrete construction, possess excellent leadership abilities, and demonstrate strong project management skills. As a Concrete Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating concrete projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements:

• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

• Journeyman-level skills or higher in concrete construction.

• Proficient in site layout, project planning, and blueprint reading.

• Experience managing and supervising a crew of 4-5 people.

• Strong shotcrete abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with contractors, owners, and team members.

• Capable of creating and maintaining project schedules.

• Willingness and ability to order materials necessary for projects.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

• Experience in commercial concrete projects and industrial construction.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of concrete construction projects.

• Ensure projects adhere to plans, specifications, and safety standards.

• Manage and motivate a crew of 4-5 workers, delegating tasks effectively.

• Conduct site layout, interpret blueprints, and plan project execution.

• Communicate with contractors, owners, and project stakeholders.

• Create and maintain project schedules to meet deadlines.

• Order materials and equipment required for projects.

• Oversee quality control and ensure workmanship meets standards.

• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in concrete construction, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.

• Journeyman-level or higher certification in concrete work preferred.

• Strong knowledge of shotcrete techniques and applications.

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• OSHA certification 30 (required 15 days after hire).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
