Monitors construction of facility and ensures compliance to safety regulations. Being a Construction Representative, Sr. performs regular assessment of construction methods and project costs. Requires technical knowledge of multiple construction processes and extensive experience in a given field of inspection work. Additionally, Construction Representative, Sr. may be responsible for overseeing the work of less experienced inspectors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Construction Representative, Sr. is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. SouthernCarlson is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to join our Billings, MT team! Career building opportunity with tremendous growth potential. This would be a great opportunity for a sales representative with previous industrial, concrete or construction industry experience. SouthernCarlson is a leading national distributor of tools, fasteners, building products and concrete supplies. We have 148 locations and growing, and our products serve thousands of customers throughout 43 states and parts of Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Build excellent, mutually beneficial partnerships with all our customers.
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and expand the customer base.
- Consistently reach and exceed sales and profitability goals.
- Deliver world class customer service.

- Create sales presentations and materials to present to customers.
- A self-starter who projects a professional image and positive attitude.
- Previous experience in sales and customer service for industrial sales or construction industry experience is REQUIRED.
- Degree preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills
- A goal driven and detail-oriented personality.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
- Ability to lift 50 pounds of products on a regular basis.
