    Service Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Lending Representative where you will provide administrative support to the Indirect Lending Department. This will include but is not limited to scanning loan packages, opening accounts, auditing incoming loan packages for accuracy, all department mailings, supply ordering.

    Pay: Starting at 18.29 per hour. Flexible based on experience.

    The Day to Day:

    • Handle all inbound contact from loan applicants, dealers, and vendors by phone, text, email, fax, and messages received via loan operating system.
    • Begin to develop a familiarity and working knowledge of the loan function, to include direct and indirect loan operating system, and Service Credit Union’s account creation system.
    • Perform audits of completed loan packages to ensure quality and consistency standards are met.
    • Responsible for disbursal of loan proceeds.
    • Perform routine follow up with application and dealer to complete the loan process.
    • Responsible for creating new welcome packets and preparing all outgoing mail correspondence.
    • Process new member account applications.
    • Perform account and loan maintenance as needed.
    • Quality control of all loan documents before purging.
    • Scanning and/or uploading all loan and member documents to record retention system.
    • Responsible for interpreting loan application data using critical thinking skills.
    • Review member accounts in Special Accounts database system and comprehend collection notes.
    • Ability to analyze credit reports for credit worthiness and fraud detection.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Good mathematical skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to analyze credit reports.
    • Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, and various web-based applications required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
