Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a group of consumer loan collectors and assists in developing strategies to minimize collection portfolio loss. Assists in designing and administering collection processes, policies, and procedures, also supervises use of computerized collection systems. Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Consumer Loan Collection Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Pay: $17.50/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Loan and Collection Specialist responsibilities include assisting the Member Solutions Manager in the day-to-day collection process, ensuring adherence to credit and collection policies and regulations. Conduct calls to members with delinquent assets, process collection mail, and handle various clerical duties within the collections department. Additionally, provide administrative support for loan processing and documentation, including loan closings and updating loan data. Deliver exceptional service to members across all channels while demonstrating teamwork in meeting their needs. Qualified candidates will have two years of experience working at a credit union.
