Summary: Responsible for supervising staff and daily operations within the [contracted services department] by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Travel to and monitor the cleaning of client locations to ensure a neat and clean presentation, free from any hazards.
2. Follow all written and verbal instructions from director regarding activities of department.
3. Delegate daily job duties to staff and ensure staff is completing jobs properly.
4. Provide training and assistance to employees in the completion of assigned duties and use of equipment.
5. Perform various cleaning and maintenance activities within assigned buildings.
6. Ensure that staff assure the security of buildings during and after completed jobs and report any security violations to management.
7. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored in appropriate areas and maintained in working condition.
8. Apply knowledge of department operations to assess employee performance, and provide reports of all issues and concerns to director in a timely manner.
9. Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies. Orders needed supplies in accordance with department requisition guidelines.
10. Generate employee work schedules to ensure staffing needs are met in accordance with organization policy and contract guidelines.
11. Maintains professional appearance at all times and displays exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
12. Maintains flexible work schedule to include evening hours based on client contract hours.
13. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
14. Maintain effective communication between the agency, employees, and client companies to promote working relationships and efficient operations.
15. Perform duties in an environment of changing priorities and varying levels of stress and pressure.
16. Carry out responsibilities in accordance with contract, company policies and applicable federal and state laws.
17. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent; and two to four years of related Human Services and supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
