**Your Role:**
- **Monitor and Maintain Systems:** Ensure safe and compliant operation of electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems.
- **Troubleshoot and Repair:** Address issues in control systems, circuits, and equipment, maintaining high standards of performance.
- **Collaborate and Lead:** Work with the System Ownership team, including Operations Technicians, Management, and Engineering.
- **Perform Preventive Maintenance:** Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on plant systems and equipment.
**We’re Looking For:**
- **Technical Experience:** Minimum of 7 years in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with military experience highly valued.
**Preferred Skills:**
- **Switchyard Expertise:** Experience with switchyards operating at 345 kV and 115 kV, handling high current systems (40-20 million amps).
- **DCS Control Systems:** Solid understanding of digital control systems (DCS) is required.
- **Technology Proficiency:** Familiarity with Siemens T3000 and/or Emerson control systems is a plus.
- **Maintenance Management Systems:** Understanding of Maximo Maintenance Management System or similar systems is highly desirable.
- **Instrumentation and Control:** Experience with instruments, PLC, or control programming.
- **Project Management:** Proven experience in project management within the power industry.
**Military Experience:** Navy Nukes or similar military technical experience is highly valued.
- **Adaptability:** Ability to work in various weather conditions, as machines are located outside.
- **Attitude and Aptitude:** Strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are crucial.
- **Pre-Interview Process:** Initial phone screening with Tracey, followed by a phone interview with the manager, and an on-site interview and tour.
- **Expertise in Controls and Instrumentation:** Proficiency with digital control systems, PLCs, and Siemens T3000.
