We are seeking a meticulous Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.
Duties:
- Develop and implement an effective compliance program
-Develop and oversee onboarding and annual training for employees
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Investigate any compliance issues or violations
- Provide guidance on compliance matters to employees
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding compliance activities
-Oversee preparation for external accreditation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field
- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role
-Minimum of one year experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as Arkansas and federal Medicaid and ADA
- Familiarity with financial concepts and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Certification in Compliance or related field is a plus
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in public accounting or financial auditing
- Understanding of fraud prevention and detection techniques
