Job Summary **This is not a remote position and located in office in Rapid City, South Dakota.** Gather and analyze metrics, key risk indicators and maintain scorecards defined within the area of information security to ensure our information security program is performing effectively and efficiently. Be able to work as a liaison within the audits and assessments, provide technical expertise, recommendations and supporting knowledge across a wide range of areas within information security, risk and IT. Provide technical responsibilities to assist with evaluation and testing as well as work with the applicable teams to track, address, and remediate audit and assessment findings to closure. Candidate should be familiar with threats and vulnerabilities, latest trends and risks and be able to understand the technical remediation action steps or plans and communicate them effectively to teams within the organization. Assist with internal, external, and regulatory audits initiatives. Knowledge in standard security and regulatory frameworks (example: NIST and ISO and PCI). Help support and mature our third party risk management program. Be familiar with general governance, risk and compliance programs with specific knowledge of vendor risk and policy management. Provide support for ongoing third party risk reviews, including initial inherent risk, ongoing residual risk, and attestation campaigns. Support and contribute to the improvements of our vulnerability management program. Be able to act in an advisory, as well as a supporting coordinator role with ongoing vulnerability and patch remediation efforts. Discuss vulnerabilities and their recommended remediation steps with application and infrastructure owners. Document and drive remediation plans and tasks to closure by working directly with the teams. Have experience with managing exceptions from a policy and standards perspective. Work directly with the Information Security Officer and teams to document; identify compensating controls and remediation action plans accordingly. Support where needed, regular IT general controls activity reviews. Activity reviews require general knowledge in the areas IT management, acquisition and maintenance of systems, system operations and information security control activity. All other duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Preferred: Experience - 5 years of Computer/Information Technology Experience Education - Bachelors degree in Related Field Certification - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Accredited University or accredited training professionals Physical Requirements: Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
