Corporate Giving Director identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and implements strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Director maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     As a Sr DirectorCorporate Development at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS),you will play a crucial role in enabling the strategic plan of ESS by developingand executing inorganic strategies via joint ventures/alliances, acquisitions, &divestitures.

    In this role, youwill have a significant impact on our business by driving strategic inorganicinitiatives that will enable us to enter new markets, access new technologies,and enhance our competitive advantage. You will partner with senior businessleaders at the ESS level, and within our business entities, to develop inorganicapproaches to accelerate, amplify, and complement our growth objectives. Youwill be responsible for originating and cultivating a pipeline of JV and acquisitiontargets and partnering with our corporate M&A team and functional leadersto successfully diligence, execute and integrate targets.

    Yourleadership and expertise will help shape the future of our organization anddrive our success in the energy and sustainability industry. You will reportdirectly to the VP M&A, ESS and be located in Charlotte, NC (or any othermajor ESS hub).

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with senior leaders to develop strategic initiatives that incorporate inorganic approaches as an enabler for growth; develop, communicate, and apply methodology for identifying targets that support strategic plan
    • Support market landscaping and target identification; identify actionable targets and lead engagement, cultivation, and relationship development
    • Prepare and present business cases, financial models, and investment proposals to senior leadership and the executive team for approval
    • Lead cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and business unit leaders, to ensure alignment and successful execution of M&A initiatives
    • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential target/partners, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation
    • Lead negotiations and structuring of joint venture agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of joint ventures into our business operations
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities to identify potential M&A targets and drive strategic decision-making

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development, joint ventures/strategic partnerships, M&A, or related roles
    • Proven track record of successfully identifying, cultivating, and executing M&A and joint venture opportunities
    • Strong financial acumen and ability to conduct thorough due diligence
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Abilityto build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
