Vertical Mobility Corporation is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating cranes in remote locations, around telecommunication towers & structures, around buildings and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure safe and efficient operations. Base location is in Villa Ridge, MO with a work range area across Missouri, Illinois, w/ portions of Kansas, Oklahoma & Arkansas. Pay range is $35-$45/hr based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
- Follow safety protocols and standards for crane operations
- Inspect crane for safety and functionality before use
- Communicate with ground workers to ensure safe load movement
- Maintain logs of working hours and operations performed
Experience:
- Prior experience in construction site crane operation w/ preference in telecommunications crane work
- Class A CDL is a must for this role
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting crane issues
- Experience with boom trucks, commercial driving and/or excavation equipment is beneficial
