Provides subject matter expertise and collaborates cross-functionally across Bridgestone West to bring the voice of the customer to the way we think about every phase of our product and marketing processes. Leverages business strategy and data to define / enhance the brand and identify its greatest opportunities. Leads the alignment of various pools of deep subject-specific insight to tell the bigger customer story. Ensuring these insights inform our strategic planning process and decision making throughout our product, strategy and marketing organizations.
Preferred location is in Nashville, TN (BSAM Headquarters) or Brussels, Belgium (BSEMEA headquarters). Open to remote for the right candidate.
10 years of customer and market insights / marketing research experience
Agency management experience, including a strong understanding of the market research and marketing insights agency ecosystem and various agency models available
Ability to influence actions and coordinate activity across broad cross-business-unit, cross-functional stakeholder groups without direct authority
Outstanding communication skills, including fluency in the languages of technology and marketing, and the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership
Experience leading research in market trends & sizing/segmentation, competitive intelligence and customer sentiment
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to inform product development, concept testing, customer journey mapping, messaging and brand research
Experience with library science and/or data & analytics
Experience building and leading a team of research/SME's and demonstrating a passion for team development
Blend of B2B and B2C experience, automotive industry and or retail is a plus
Experience working in matrixed organizations where leadership through influence was a demonstrated skill.
Education Qualifications
B.S in marketing, business administration, social sciences, psychology or related discipline
