Customer Service Director directs and oversees all aspects of an organization's customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops service level standards focused on reducing response times and providing high customer satisfaction. Being a Customer Service Director establishes policies and procedures that produce high quality customer service delivery and that reflect industry best practices. Implements systems to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in product or service issues. Additionally, Customer Service Director manages resource decision-making and planning. Aligns customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Customer Service Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Customer Service Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Who You Are:


    You enjoy providing top-notch service to prospective and current residents and team members. This role acts as a community-wide liaison for multiple departments ensuring efficiency and functionality.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    •Prepare Labor reports.
    •Prepare overtime weekly report to support the Labor Report.
    •Help with Accounts Receivable including collecting rent.
    •Create new Spend Down preparation for each month.
    •Conduct orientation for new hires when BOM is not available.
    •Set up pendants for new or existing residents.
    •Run call light reports weekly per schedule.
    •Oversee / coordinate room “rent readies” with sales, maintenance andhousekeeping.
    •Set up rooms for all staff / regional meetings.
    •Manage Kronos / Time Keeping system; clear exceptions, add BPR’s, and helpinstall and set-up Kronos / Time Keeping for employees on their personal device ifneeded.
    •Manage the PPE supplies – masks, gowns, face shields, etc.
    •Update Security System as needed.
    •Connect residents’ laptops, tablets to Community secured Wi-Fi.
    •Place orders, schedule appointments, track deficiencies with service providers likeComcast, etc.
    •Other tasks / projects assigned by RDO/ ED
    oAssist / coordinate move in paperwork to compliance.
    oAssist with conducting resident assessments as needed.

    • Serve as liaison between family and the community for a smooth transition.
    • Assign a Community Ambassador to the new move-in.
    • Place a picture of the new resident on the Move-In Board.
    • Print out welcome sign / door hanger.
    • Order door name tags.
    • Contact moving company and confirm date and time for new move-ins.
    • Confirm and correct (if needed) move-in ready apartments.
    • Order resident welcome gifts and place them in apartments.
    • Coordinate appropriate opportunities for Department Head meet and greet of new move-ins.
    • Assign move-in orientation days and communicate quarantine requirements to all parties needed in order to follow community and health standards.
    • Meet regularly with ED & DCR’s on Move-In details.
    • Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:


    • Must possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality and be congenial with fellow employees, residents, and the public at large.
    • Must be an honest and dependable individual.
    • Must maintain proper hygiene.
    • Must be professional in dress and presentation.
    • Must be willing to be active during entire work shift.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English and use own judgment and initiative in daily activities.
    • Must be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
    • Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Must be detail and team work oriented.
    • Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills and community requirements.
    • Must be drug-free and submit to urinalysis drug screening upon hire and routinely.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.
    • The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Koelsch Communities. 


    Licenses, Certifications, & Education Required:


    • Passed an approved food handler’s or ServSafe course as required by County, State and/or Community policy.
    • Must possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate and update as needed.


    Supervisory Requirements:


    • This role does not have any supervisory requirements.


    Uniform and Appearance Requirements:


    • Professional business attire including closed-toed shoes. Must abide by the Community dress code policy.


    Position Equipment:


    • This role is provided a laptop or desktop computer that remains in the community.
    • Carry / wear earpiece and handheld radio and respond appropriately to calls as needed.


    Work Location and Travel Requirements:


    • This role is a 100% on-site role.
