Description
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Systems Services, in the Cloud & Hybrid Services organization, the Systems Analyst is responsible for owning the overall design and implementation of the Involta technology footprint.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Maintain and secure standard operating systems and server platforms
- Develop and maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations
- Install, configure and maintain server hardware, operating systems and storage devices
- Creates user accounts and maintains security levels on applications, storage folders and databases
- Provide efficient and reliable system and storage allocation
- Monitors email and web servers, filtering, and storage resources
- Recommends hardware, software applications, upgrades and patches
- Create, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Point of contact to the Systems team
- Serve as point of escalation internally, owns issue/problem through resolution
- Installs, configure, and maintain network devices
- Troubleshoot network performance issues, analyze and resolve problems associated with server hardware
- Help develop talent by mentoring other members of the team
- Test and evaluate network systems, servers, and desktop systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Requirements
Education and Experience:- 7 or more years of experience are required
- Microsoft certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem analysis experience
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment ?
- SAN management experience is a plus
- Advanced/expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows 2008R2, Windows 2012R2 and Server 2016, Active Directory, and VMware
- Strong background with Windows Server Operating Systems and Networking
- Advanced/expert knowledge and understanding of LAN and WAN configuration and management
- Advanced understanding of Virtualization Concepts and Platforms
- Strong background with Microsoft Office products
- Possesses advanced/expert knowledge of DNS and Active Directory Administration
- Familiarity with End-Point Management Systems ? Strong understanding of email and concepts
- Ability to identify key issues and think creatively and strategically when presented with internal and external challenges
- Demonstrate strong ability to identify the cause and effects of problems, analyze information, and present resolution in a clear and concise manner both internally and externally
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills; the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates
- Communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills; the ability to use concise, clear, and appropriate language when communicating internally and externally
- Must be able to interact with staff and customers in a professional environment
Occasional night and weekend work is required

Compensation
The compensation for this position is $81,000-121,500 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and skillsets.
