We are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join the team. At our Fairbanks Kendall Auto Mall, our parts department is a fast-paced environment serving technicians within the dealership as well as clients throughout the community by selling OEM and aftermarket parts to our clients.
This means there is no lack of work for our parts personnel.
Kendall Auto Group offers competitive compensation. The position pays hourly, plus a monthly departmental performance bonus, totaling anywhere from $45-60K per year annually depending on your drive and inventory control skills.
This is not an entry level position. We are seeking candidates with automotive parts and warehouse experience, including inventory control, and knowledge of electronic parts catalogues;
experience with manufacture specific catalogues is preferred.
Our Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory records, creating invoices, processing orders, manufacturer returns, and warranties, loading and unloading freight.
A valid driver's license and driving record are required; must be able to operate a forklift. Hours would be M-F, 8-5 with some overtime and some Saturdays expected.
Work is performed indoors spending up to 75% of work shift using computers and phone systems. Standing and walking for up to 30% of work shift is required.
Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds rarely required when moving parts.
