ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Data Warehouse and Analytics team leader will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse in AWS. This role involves managing a team of professionals who develop and deliver comprehensive reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions for internal employees and external clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, analytics, and team leadership, with a focus on driving strategic data initiatives in the healthcare sector.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Lead and manage the Data Warehouse and Analytics team, providing direction, mentorship, and support
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the AWS-based data warehouse
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data for reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Develop and implement data governance and security policies in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics interfaces to support data-driven decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes and technologies
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of data initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and analytics
- Other duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and technologies
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Location – Tampa area is preferred, remote is a possibility
- Fast paced, dynamic work environment requiring the ability to be adaptive, innovative, and flexible
