The Systems Test Engineer will be working within a portion of the R&D department known as the Meter Farm team. This team focuses on RF mesh network stability and performance testing by using the full system solution (hardware, firmware, RF and Cellular Network communication, and Software) for the electric, water, and gas meters in a single cell at scale. The team runs testing year round on 24,000 endpoints all located onsite (outdoors) in West Union, SC.
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of the solution. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

Preferred Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment. Will need to be comfortable working outdoors (meter farm) on occasion in all types of weather.
