Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. The Deans Office Coordinator supports Associate Deans, Assistant Deans, and staff. Communicates and coordinates instructions and desires with various colleges, individuals, chairs, and departments. Organizes and maintains correspondence and projects, follows up on pending matters with limited direction. Handles confidential information and files for the Dean’s Office. Prepares special reports and correspondence, summarizes, and analyzes the data. Communicates with individuals across functions and departments, college, and university. Organizes and expedites work through the office and initiates follow up action. May be consulted as a resource in the resolution of problems and issues. Assignments are broad in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. Will also manage student workers and coverage of the Dean’s Office front desk.
