Dean of Dentistry jobs in California

The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks applicants for a full-time clinical track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Department of Operative Dentistry.Responsibilities will include pre-clinical and clinical teaching in the area of restorative dentistry, with an emphasis on teaching restorative dentistry to predoctoral students in the DDS program.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree (or equivalent) and a valid dental license. Advanced degree in the area of Advanced Operative Dentistry from a CODA-accredited school is highly desirable.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
