Dean of Mathematics jobs in District of Columbia
Dean of Mathematics manages administrative functions of the college of mathematics. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Mathematics leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Mathematics requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Mathematics manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Mathematics typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Job Title: Design Engineers Modular Solutions
Location: Tysons, VA
Job Description: Concept identification and exploration, detailed design, and production design of fully integrated electrical rooms, power distribution modules, telecommunications distribution, and other complex electrical and systems infrastructure modules. Review and analysis of architectural, electrical, mechanical, and systems construction drawings and specifications, as well as equipment submittals, to identify project requirements, constraints and modularization opportunities. Design custom structures, enclosures, and other components and develop electrical, mechanical, and systems infrastructure layouts to improve constructability and enable modular delivery. Production, review and quality control of fabrication and installation engineering drawings and supporting documentation. Collaboration with structural, mechanical and other discipline engineers to perform modeling simulation, and analysis of performance, integrity, and robustness of the proposed design.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related
