Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, including food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure the quality and freshness of deli products
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Upsell additional products or specials to customers
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and provide friendly assistance to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
