The Grocery Store Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day operations including hiring and training staff, managing vendors, merchandising, creating and executing promotions, back office and POS computer systems, and facility management.
Jake's Enfield store is a small format grocery store that provides a full array of products and services, including grocery, frozen, dairy, beverages, produce, fresh meats, produce, full-service deli, pet goods, and gas and diesel.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing as many of the departments offered, and a desire to craft and execute their own promotions and plan-o-grams. We are a small family-owned operator and the General Manager will be our driving force behind everything that happens inside the store. There isn't any corporate office dictating how to merchandise and promote the store.
