Tasks and Duties:
- Perform duties of driver, as needed and when tasked with operating transit vehicles, obey all laws governing the operations of transit vehicles in the state of Nebraska.
- When tasked with operating transit vehicles, enforcement of the use of all policies pertaining to the safe and efficient operations of transit vehicles.
- Provide safe transportation for the general public.
The position requires:
- Standing, bending, twisting, turning.
- Lifting and carrying up to a total weight of 30 lb. sacks into the vehicle and the passenger’s front door.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel, push and lift
- Should be able to climb stairs if necessary.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving the vehicle safely.
Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
