Direct Mail Specialist manages all direct mail programs, processes, and materials to insure effective and on-time results. Oversees warehouse inventory and reorders items as needed. As a Mortgage Loan Specialist, you will process mortgage loans and provide assistance to the Mortgage Loan Originators and their customers with quality service by handling all applications accurately, efficiently and in a confidential manner.

Hours are typically between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This position is work from home with occasional meetings at the office.

Qualified candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detailed oriented, work well with others, have a high school diploma and be able to pass a background and credit check to the company’s satisfaction. Previous mortgage experience is preferred but not required.
Pay varies depending on experience starting from $20 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintain an understanding of all loan products including FHA, VA, SDH, Rural Development and Conventional Real Estate and knowledge of Investor requirements, as well as compliance requirements
· Order and monitor receipt of required documents for loan process such as income, asset and employment verifications, appraisals, title, surveys, etc.
· Communicate with borrowers, Realtors, and all other parties to gather and prepare necessary documentation for initial underwriting review, and to clear loan approval conditions
· Document loans files to ensure efficiency, quality and accessibility for Mortgage Loan Originators, Underwriters, Compliance, and Shipping
· Provide updates to borrowers, Realtors, and Mortgage Loan Originators
· Work efficiently within necessary time frames to ensure lock-ins do not expire and closing dates are not jeopardized
· Coordinate and Schedule closings with borrowers, Realtors, and title companies
· Prepare loan closing documents and closing packages, and request funding
· Assist with post-closing conditions
· Complete Cancelled/Withdrawn files and HMDA reporting
· Adhere to compliance procedures, attend required team meetings and training seminars as assigned by management
· Assist other Mortgage Loan Specialists as needed
· Perform other duties assigned by management
