POSITION TITLE: Dispatcher/Salesperson
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Dispatcher/Salesperson is responsible for managing Sales and Ready-Mix production by providing exceptional customer service, actively closing sales, and being the leading component in our progressive team environment.
PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
1) $17-$26 an hour. Pay range based on experience and proficiency.

3) Work hours: Mon-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:00am-11:30am

MAJOR DUTIES OF THE JOB:
1) Schedules production. Manages inventories. Supervises Mixer Truck Drivers.
2) Informs potential and current customers of concrete products, provides technical assistance and training.
3) Coordinates production supply to meet customer requirements.
4) Proficiently operates the Batch Plant and computers.
5) Promotes Company Good Will, represents the Company at meetings and seminars.
6) Manages product research and development and Quality control.
7) Coordinates the use of production personnel for special projects with the Plant Maintenance Technician.
8) Maintains a safe environment in compliance with OSHA and Company Safety Policy guidelines. Coordinates training with the Safety Coordinator.
9) Performs other duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1) EDUCATION- Associate's Degree or equivalent.
2) EXPERIENCE- Two years’ previous experience in Personnel Management and/or Sales.
3) KNOWLEDGE- Knowledge of personnel motivation strategies and product sales techniques. Basic knowledge of computer operations. Prior knowledge about Concrete is preferred.
4) SKILLS AND ABILITIES- Ability to Prioritize and Organize time and personnel. Proficient oral and written communication skills.
5) PHYSICAL EFFORT- Moves about the office with records and places records in proper filing system. Must be able to perform duties according to a timely work schedule.
