DME Technician is responsible for a facility's durable medical equipment. Duties include selecting and ordering equipment and ensuring equipment delivery to facility and appropriate users. Being a DME Technician tests and maintains equipment to ensure proper functionality. Provides training on use of equipment. Additionally, DME Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The DME Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. As a DME (durable medical equipment) Technician you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of medical equipment and soft supplies to our patients.     Job Responsibilities:

    • Determine or obtain best daily route, assemble, and deliver all needed equipment; educate patient and family on how to properly use equipment
    • Ensure stock levels are appropriate and warehouse and delivery vehicles are organized and clean
    • Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems
    • Complete delivery and pickup process promptly and accurately
    • Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and with minor repair of equipment
    • Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance
    • Take "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during weeknights and weekends
    • Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when working with clients
    • Accept other duties and activities as assigned

    • Valid Driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile
