Document Imaging Operator jobs in New Jersey
Document Imaging Operator operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Being a Document Imaging Operator indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. Troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Additionally, Document Imaging Operator typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Document Imaging Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Job Description- Associate will perform Correspondence Processing/Imaging functions within Mail Operations.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as be detailed oriented.
- Position will require the review and assessment of client instructions and related inquiries.
- Candidate must be familiar with workflow models and be able to multitask.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in imaging services or records management Experience with electronic documents in a financial environment is a plus
- A minimum of 45 wpm typing Knowledge of scanning equipment
- Proficiency in a range of computer software applications, including programs and databases such as, MSWord, Excel, and Ascent Capture
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in handling a number of projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines
- Must have attention to detail
- Strong communication (written and oral) skills
- Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary
